Artist Statement

The journey of creation is as abstract as the final piece. Each brushstroke carries a thought, a feeling, a memory. The works have taken me on a path of reflection and exploration.

Layer by layer, my paintings unfold deep hidden meanings—spanning time and space, crossing centuries, lands, civilisations, and cultures. Each brushstroke bridges the past and the present, between distant worlds and our own, connecting the ancient with the contemporary, the physical with the metaphysical.

As the layers build, so do the connections, revealing stories and symbols that resonate across generations. My work is a journey through the unseen, inviting us to explore the depths of our shared human experience.

In this series, stories are intricately nested within each other, layered not just in thought but also in the physical rendering of each piece. As we engage with these works, we will encounter visuals that reference timeless symbols—the Phoenix, the Simurgh, the flight of Starlings, and the delicate Iris—all unfolding in a dynamic flow.

The Phoenix and Simurgh, both legendary birds, symbolize resurrection, rebirth, and the transcendence of the soul. They emerge within these works as echoes of transformation, rising from the abstract forms that might initially seem chaotic but gradually reveal their deeper meaning.

The imagery of Starlings, known for their murmuration—those breathtaking, synchronized movements—captures the idea of collective unity and the power of shared energy.

The Iris, with its rich history in art and mythology, adds another layer, symbolizing hope, wisdom, and communication between different realms of existence.

As we explore the compositions, these symbols manifest in moments of appearance and presence, where the forms seem to perform, strife against unseen forces, and then rest in a calm space that offers a momentary resolution.

Each piece in this series is part of a larger flow, a journey that mirrors the ebb and flow of life itself. The works are marked by moments of intense activity—of performance and struggle—juxtaposed with spaces of stillness, where the forms seem to breathe and rest. These transitions mirror the human experience, with its cycles of action and repose, tension and release. I would like to invite the viewer into a meditative journey, where they can explore the unfolding visuals and the hidden narratives that lie within.

During creation, there’s a moment when the Universal Presence reveals itself—a force that transcends time and space, connecting all things. These are my attempts to channel that boundless energy, to capture the essence of something greater than ourselves. It’s a reminder that we are all part of a vast, interconnected cosmos, where every brushstroke carries a whisper of the infinite. In the depths of abstraction, the Universal Presence begins to take form—emerging from the void, making itself seen, perhaps even heard. There are moments when the unseen becomes visible and the cosmic whispers become audible through form. As I paint, I feel the presence revealing itself, layer by layer, inviting us to witness its unfolding and to listen to its silent song.

Art can be a form of protest, a cry for peace, and a way to keep the conversation alive. In a world torn by war, dissent, and unrest, some works become a space to process the chaos. Through abstraction, I strive to capture the raw, unfiltered emotions that these global struggles evoke. These works are a reflection of the pain, confusion, and hope that emerges from strife.

Finally, It's time for rest. It's time for peace. It's time for the tired body to find its haven—a space within, within its silence. In that silence, the magical power of grace descends, caressing and holding us together, mending the fragments, and bringing us back to wholeness. May we all find that place, where rest meets grace and peace is restored.

All of this exists in a space held by emptiness and silence, a canvas where the infinite meets the tangible, where thought becomes form and form dissolves back into thought.

A few works are a homage to that space, where the unseen and the seen merge in their full glory, and the nanoparticle sparkles within it.

Greatly resonating with the Jungian Philosophy of renowned scientist Carl Jung, I dedicate a few works to his great mind, a fertile ground, where mathematical equations, symbols, and mark-making thrived alongside the organic beauty of nature. Antennae reaching out, buds ready to bloom and mind and matter come together in a dance of creation.
